Neskowin Development Standards: What are the rules?

The Neskowin Community Plan is how we tell leaders in Tillamook, Salem, and beyond what we care about, and what our preferences are in terms of Land Use policy. But how do we use use the Community Plan to advance our goals as a community? How do we translate the Vision and Values we have workshopped over the past months into recommendations for Tillamook County about how we would like our zoning ordinances updated?

Sarah Absher, Director of Community Development in Tillamook County, is here to answer these questions and more.

In the third of a series of three meetings presented by the Community Plan Steering Subcommittee and Director Absher, Director Absher will review the development standards in Neskowin as they exist today, and discuss with NCAC members how the community might seek to update these standards via the Community Plan process.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 6pm. If you can attend in person, this meeting will be held at Hawk Creek Gallery, across 101 from the golf course on Schoolhouse Road.
